Accountability

Solemn Assembly 2025

What is Solemn Assembly?

A Solemn Assembly is a gathering of the people of God where there is a pause on all their lives to look towards the Living God. Each year we pause and hold a Solemn Assembly as a congregation. This year’s Solemn Assembly theme will be “Accountability.” During this time we will focus on seeking God for growth in stewardship and responsibility in every area of life.

This year’s Solemn Assembly will take place from Monday, January 6th through Sunday, January 26th.

When is Solemn Assembly?

This year’s Solemn Assembly will take place from Monday, January 6th through Sunday, January 26th.

What do we do during Solemn Assembly?

During Solemn Assembly, we pray, fast, and gather.

Fast

Fast daily. Choose one, two, or all three of the following time slots to fast:
  • Morning: 12 am - 11 am
  • Midday: 11 am - 3 pm
  • Evening: 3 pm - 12 am

During your time of fasting, avoid television, YouTube, social media, and other distractions. Instead, focus on our Bible Reading Plan and prayer around how you are pursuing accountability.

Pray

  • Focus in prayer on the areas in your life where you need to grow in accountability
  • Follow the Bible Reading Plan and allow the scriptures to inform your time of prayer
