WORSHIP THROUGH LIVING

Each week we share opportunities for you to Worship Through Living. You can check out all the details from this week's announcements -- including those we did not have time to share in the gathering -- here.
ACCOUNTABILITY
  • How are you stewarding what God has given you? This year, we’re making accountability a priority—taking responsibility for our giving, serving, and connecting as a church family. Here’s how you can take action today:
    • Be accountable to give: Your faithful giving has made it possible for us to renovate our first floor into a new gathering space! You can continue to give towards the ongoing work on our building to maximize it's use for ministry.
    • Be accountable to serve: God has gifted you with time and talents—use them to build His Kingdom! If you’re not currently serving in a ministry, sign up today and use the gifts God has given you for His glory.
Let’s commit to faithful stewardship—not just in words, but in action. Will you take the next step?
MEMBERSHIP
  • We need to hear from each and every one of you. Membership & Visitor Engagement Survey helps us care well, steward resources wisely, and keep communication accurate.
  • In about two minutes, you can confirm your current membership status and update your contact information in Church Center. This simple step ensures elders, deacons, and ministry leaders can reach you with timely care, discipleship opportunities, and church updates. If you’ve been active, thank you—your response keeps our records current. If you’re in a quieter season, this helps us know how to walk with you. And if your phone number or email changed, this prevents missed messages. Please complete the Membership & Engagement Survey today. Let’s make sure no one falls through the cracks as we show off the glory of Christ in every area of life.
BAPTISM
Our next Baptism Sunday of the year is coming up—and we want you to be part of it. If you’ve trusted in Jesus but haven’t yet been baptized, now is the time!  Baptism is a public declaration that you belong to Christ. It’s a way to show the world what God has done in your life—and to celebrate that transformation with your church family. Our next baptism is happening on Sunday, November 9 during the 11:30 AM gathering. We’ll walk with you through the process, including a pre-baptism meeting with one of our pastors. Don’t miss this opportunity to honor God and grow in your walk with Him.  Sign up now in the church center app!
MEN
  • What does it mean to be a man of God in a culture that distorts manhood? NewManity Men’s Ministry invites you to Made Man: What God has created men to be.
  • Together, we’ll open Scripture, sharpen one another, and rediscover God’s call for men to be spiritually strong, responsible, and faithful leaders. Whether you’re single, married, a father, or simply ready to grow, you’ll find a brotherhood pursuing gospel renewal in every area of life.
  • Join us Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 8:30 AM.
FAMILY
  • Community is one of the sweetest ways we see God’s glory. When families spend time together, children learn what it means to belong to the body of Christ.
  • Join us for Family Fun Day at Linvilla Orchards—a fall evening of fun, food, and fellowship! Families will enjoy a hayride (starting at 5:30 pm), roast marshmallows, make s’mores and hot dogs, and sip warm apple cider.
  • Kids will receive special goodie bags, and parents will have time to connect and relax.
  • This is a perfect event to invite friends and neighbors to experience the warmth of gospel-centered community.
  • Saturday, November 1 at 5:00 pm • Linvilla Orchards
  • RSVP in Church Center.
EQUIP U
  • Equip U strengthens us in sanctification, wisdom, and biblical knowledge.
  • The Fall 2025 semester continues on Wednesday, October 15.
  • Equip U is built for the entire church family. You do not have to be caught up on every class to benefit. Each evening offers practical biblical teaching and community learning that will deepen your walk with Christ.
  • Register today in Church Center.
FREQUENCY
  • The Frequency Conference equips the church for urban mission through gospel-centered teaching and practical tools. Founded by Dr. Eric Mason and hosted by Thriving, this year features Dr. Mason, Pastor Philip Anthony Mitchell, Jackie Hill Perry and Preston Perry, Megan Ashley, and Bishop Kenneth Ulmer
  • We want to make it a little easier for our Epiphany Family & Friends to participate, so we’re offering a special discount on a limited number of tickets:
  • For those who purchase tickets to our Pre‑Conference Gala using the link below, the cost of the main conference will be reduced to $50, reducing the combined cost of the Gala and Conference from $349 to $150. You can learn more and get your discounted ticket today in the Church Center app.
YOUNG ADULTS
  • Young adulthood is full of transitions—dating, marriage, finances, work, and identity. Our monthly Young Adult Bible Study helps ages 18–40 connect God’s Word to everyday life. Each session includes Bible teaching, open discussion, and practical steps for living with purpose. It’s also a chance to meet others navigating the same season and build relationships that strengthen your walk with Christ.
  • Every 3rd Tuesday, 7:00 pm
  • OUTREACH
Jesus reminds us that when we serve “the least of these,” we serve Him (Matthew 25:40). Our Thanksgiving Basket Giveaway is one way we live that out together.
  • On Saturday, November 22, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., we’ll gather in the church basement to assemble and deliver Thanksgiving baskets filled with groceries and hope to about 70 families across North Philadelphia.
  • Led by our Community Table ministry, we’ll organize three volunteer teams—shopping, packing, and delivery—so every basket goes out with dignity, prayer, and care.
  • Whether you’re new to serving or a regular volunteer, this is a chance to be part of something deeply personal: meeting physical needs while pointing hearts toward Christ’s generosity.
