Emotional Freedom

Thank God for our elders and leaders, for all that serve in our Epiphany family and in the body of Christ.  Thank and praise God for keeping us through these trying times, for comfort, encouragement, and care. Thank God for the technology allowing us to communicate and connect and most importantly for giving Himself so that we can have eternal life through Jesus Christ!
Psalms‬ 95:1-3; Psalms‬ 100:4-5‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬; Romans‬ 8:38-39 ‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

Pray for Jehovah Rapha, God the healer to heal us from physical sickness, the sins of racism, and partiality at all levels. Pray for those that need healing from family trauma and abuse, legitimate church hurt, and for those with unresolved grief and loss.
1 Peter‬ 2:24‬; ‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬James‬ 5:14-15; 2 Corinthians‬ 10:4-5‬ ‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

Pray for the mental and emotional well-being of people in isolation for an extended period of time. Pray for aid for parents who are schooling from home and working. Pray for respite for front line workers (teachers, health care professionals).

Pray for the mental and emotional health of our youth. Pray that they would begin to experience the peace that Christ provides.
John 14:27

Relational Freedom

In difficult times we are often reminded of our sin and feel more aware of being separated from the Lord and each other by it. God’s word is faithful though. Just as He promises to forgive us, He commands us to forgive each other. Pray for humble hearts motivating us to be quick to repent of sin whenever it occurs. Pray that all of our relationships would reflect God’s desire to reconcile and embrace the ministry of reconciliation. Pray that families would confess and forgive, that friendships would be restored, and that we would feel the full measure of the grace God extends to the humble.
James‬ 5:15-16; ‬‬‬1 John‬ 1:9; Psalms‬ 103:10-12‬

Spiritual Freedom

Pray for spiritual maturity.

Pray that we would see more conversions this upcoming year.

Pray that we see youth come to know Christ and live in a way that reflects that they belong to Him.
1 Timothy 4:12

Pray for the saints to have a hunger and delight in God’s word.
Jeremiah 15:16

Economic Freedom

God’s ways are not our ways and His timing doesn’t conform to our will. Quarantines, social distancing, disrupted plans, tragic loss, etc. have defined most of this year but God promises to complete us through our trials, and He is a good shepherd! Pray for the patience to accept God’s will and accept His sovereignty over our lives. Whether transitioning to new careers, education, or relationships or dealing with illness or loss pray for the patience to wait on God and not act out of our own desire but commit to honoring God in all we do. Seeking Godly counsel, praying, and studying God’s word to honor Him in every area of our lives and resting in His loving care.
James‬ 1:2-4‬; ‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬James‬ 5:10‬; ‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬Psalms‬ 23:4‬ ‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

Despite our best intentions and greatest efforts, provision comes from God. Praying He will supply all our needs according to His riches in glory.  The economy is under God’s sovereign care and God knows our every need. Pray for God to provide for our needs and for the wisdom to be good stewards. Pray that we will willingly share our resources like the early church in Acts where they gave of their personal treasure to bless those less fortunate and that we would have confidence in God’s promises.
Psalms‬ 37:23-26‬; ‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬Philippians‬ 4:19‬; ‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬Matthew‬ 6:33-34‬
